How local video practice, optional accounts, anonymous measurement and the correction inbox work.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Your practice video

The video you select stays on your device. The browser creates a temporary object URL to play it. We do not upload, retain or send its contents, filename, audio, thumbnail or metadata to a server. Removing it, choosing a replacement or closing the page releases the temporary reference. Practice settings downloads contain only the settings you chose, not your video or its filename.

Optional accounts

Every local tool remains available without an account. If you choose to register, the scaffold's Better Auth service stores your name, email, password hash, account and session records in our own database. We do not write plaintext passwords or account identity to anonymous usage events. Authentication uses session cookies and may record normal request IP and browser information for session/security management; this is separate from the event table. Account records remain until deletion is requested; expired sessions are managed by the authentication service. Use the correction form for account or privacy questions and never send your password.

Email/password registration, sign-in and sign-out are enabled. An email service, verification and password recovery are not configured in this preview; we do not claim that an email has been delivered. Accounts do not store your video.

Language, theme and planning tools

The English/Chinese URL determines the page language; the switcher may save a locale cookie. The scaffold theme component saves your preference in local storage. Edit plans contain only the chosen duration, segment timing and frame ratio. The count tool processes your taps and selected tempo locally. No media is included in these downloads.

First-party usage measurement

To understand whether these tools work, we record a limited set of events on our own server: page views, tool opens, video-ready and error states, practice starts, ten seconds of active playback, speed or mirror changes, loop settings and repetitions, settings and edit-plan downloads, FAQ opens, reading progress, music-service/template clicks, the first tempo tap and count starts.

Each event uses a random per-tab session identifier kept in session storage, a known page path, the first page in that session, a broad source category (direct, search, internal or referral), and optional speed/mirror settings. We do not store a raw search query, referring URL, IP address, user agent, filename, video or personal profile in the event table. Your device sends network information to the hosting service as part of normal web requests; hosting logs and policies are separate from this event table.

Usage events use a 30-day retention window; records outside that window are removed when the next event arrives. If no new event arrives, deletion waits until that cleanup runs. The session identifier is discarded when the tab session ends. You can turn usage measurement off in the footer; that preference is kept in local storage. We respect a browser Do Not Track value of 1. Browser storage may be unavailable; the tool still works when it is.

Corrections and feedback

The contact form sends only the message you enter to our first-party correction inbox. It does not ask for a name or email address. Please avoid private information. Messages use a 90-day retention window; expired records are removed on the next submission. If no new submission arrives, deletion waits until that cleanup runs. The saved reference confirms storage, not that your message has been reviewed.

External services

We use Pageview for third-party page-view measurement, loaded from app.pageview.app. Its script sends the page URL, referring URL and configured site domain to Pageview; normal network requests also disclose network information to that service. We do not send account details, practice videos, filenames or tool settings to Pageview. The footer's usage measurement switch and a browser Do Not Track value of 1 disable both our first-party events and Pageview events. Pageview's processing and retention are separate from the first-party event table's 30-day window. Please avoid putting private information in page URLs.

Links to Apple Music, YouTube and CapCut open those services. We do not embed their players or load advertising on these public pages. Those services apply their own privacy policies when you choose to visit them.

Use the contact and corrections form for a privacy question. We have not listed an unverified company identity or email address. This policy describes this version of the website and will be updated if its features change.
